Materials Needed:
Note : Do not reuse tools for food after using them for polymer clay. Mix Clay - Mix ½ of a pea size ball of black clay with all the red. Mix tiny amount of black clay with the green clay. This will darken both the red and green clay. Click here to print a copy of the house pattern to scale. House Bottom - Use rolling tool to roll out and flatten red clay to 5/8 ". Cut one house bottom using knife.
House Roof- Use rolling tool to roll white clay out to a very thin sheet. Cut out one Big Roof and one Small Roof using knife. Put
House Together-
Put big white roof on top of House Bottom, making sure roof is centered.
Put House Top on top of House Bottom and Big Roof. Put Small Roof on
top of House Top. House Trim - Cut candy cane Designer Canes the length of the corners of House Bottom with straight edge razor blade. Push candy canes into clay carefully at corners of House Bottom. Door - Roll a small amount of green clay into a very small ball. Roll the ball on your working surface to stretch the ball into a short rope. Flatten this clay with your finger and thumb. Put this clay in the center of House Bottom where door would go. Press into place.
Decorate House - Warm designer canes following instructions on home page. Cut thin slices of Designer Canes using straight edge razor blade.
Foundation - Roll a ball of white clay into a short fat rope. Flatten this rope to make the foundation. Position the Decorated House in the center of the foundation. Gently press the House into the foundation.
Tree - Roll small amount of green clay into cone shape. Attach tree to foundation on one side next to house. Texture tree by poking with point of knife. Green Arch - Roll a small amount of green clay into a small long rope. Bend the rope into a half circle. Attach this arch at side of House by gently pressing arch ends into white foundation
![]() Lift and Bake - Use the knife to slide under foundation and carefully lift House and foundation off work surface
